Critical Acclaim
What critics and audiences are saying about GONG
"In today's fast-paced world where we constantly complain about time flying by, GONG offers a moment to reflect. This theatrical dance performance portrays the cycle of life from birth through adulthood, capturing the universal human experience in a wordless yet powerful narrative."
Tiyatro Dergisi
November 2024
"GONG presents an impressive narrative about the depths of emotions. This work, staged by Filiz Bozkuş Al as performance art, tells how suppressed emotions affect and transform a person. The play conveys a journey of openings, suppressions, blockages, and releases through an inner growth dance."
TekPerde
November 2023
"An in-depth exploration of the '3 Treasures' concept. The energy accumulated during the pandemic led to the birth of GONG — a ritual, a ceremony, a festival, but essentially a profound dance performance that transcends traditional boundaries."
